Vocational Language Course at Level B2

The virtual Special course B2About proficiency levels:
Click here to find detailed information regarding the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. healthcare professions is aimed at international professionals from the fields of healthcare and nursing, maternity care and physiotherapy who have immigrated and are undergoing a recognition procedure in order to be able to practice their professions in Germany. Participation is possible with (partial) funding from the BAMF (Federal Office for Migration and Refugees) only.

The course focuses on specialised language skills in the field of nursing and medicine and aims at a thorough preparation for the exam telc Deutsch B1/B2 Pflege. Participants of the course will acquire language skills at B2About proficiency levels:
Click here to find detailed information regarding the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. level which are necessary for everyday work on a ward, in a nursing home, in outpatient care or in a doctor’s surgery. Prior knowledge at B1About proficiency levels:
Click here to find detailed information regarding the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. level is required and will be checked in advance by means of a placement test unless an official B1 certificate (no older than 6 months) is available.
The course comprises a total of 600 teaching unitsTeaching units:
One teaching unit = 45 minutes. Lessons are taught by suitably qualified teachers and specialised lecturers and take place daily from Monday to Friday.

Registration

Learners of German who have completed training in nursing, geriatric care, paediatric nursing, maternity care or physiotherapy in their country of origin and are interested in our virtual Special course B2 healthcare professions must first attend a consultation with the office responsible for them.

When registering for the course, a confirmation of obligation or entitlement from the BAMF, the Job Centre or the Employment Agency must be presented. If you are not sure who to contact, please get in touch with us; we can tell you which organisation is responsible. They will determine whether you are authorised to register for our special course.
