For DAAD Scholarship holders

On this website you will find the form you can use to let us know whether you would like to book one of our accommodation options for the course period and which accommodation type (single room or bed in a twin room) you prefer. We can offer accommodation for all participants, but cannot guarantee that the preferred accommodation type (single room or bed in a double room) will be available for everyone. We will allocate accommodation in the order in which the forms are received – the quicker you complete the form, the better your chances of getting the accommodation you want!

Please complete the form by 19 May at the latest and read the conditions that apply to our accommodation carefully. You must confirm in the form that you have taken note of the conditions.

For organisational reasons, we can only inform you shortly before the start of the course about your room type and the exact costs for your accommodation.

Booking conditions

  • The reservation of accommodation is binding. It can only be cancelled up to 2 months before the start of the course.
  • By booking accommodation, participants confirm that they will respect the house rules of the accommodation.
  • The accommodation is located in various sites in Aachen, not far from the city centre. For organisational reasons, it will only be possible to inform participants at a later date which accommodation they will be staying in.
  • A deposit of €100 per person will be charged at check-in. The deposit will be returned at the end of the stay if the room has been left clean and undamaged. If damage is caused, this must be reported immediately. As the amount of damage may exceed the deposit, it is mandatory to take out liability insurance.
  • Bathrooms and kitchens are usually shared by several persons (not necessarily of the same sex) for all room types. Basic dishes and cutlery are available in the kitchens. If further cooking utensils are needed, they have to be purchased..
  • There are no lockers available in the accommodation.
  • At check-in, participants will be given information on where they can do their laundry in their accommodation or in a launderette. There may be an extra charge per washing load.
  • In case of a loss of keys, participants have to bear the costs for the key service and, if necessary, new locks and doors.
  • Participants are responsible for keeping their accommodation clean. Detailed instructions will be provided on site on how to clean the rooms before departure.
  • An internet connection via WLAN is available in the accommodation. All legal regulations applicable in Germany must be respected when using this service.
